Nottingham’s premier music venue and bar The Rescue Rooms has been fully refurbished!

The new bar features black leather chesterfield-style seating, polished copper bars and ceilings, with oak floors and finishings throughout. It has also been extended to accommodate further live bands, DJs and entertainment right in the heart of the main bar.



The venue has been transformed offering unparalleled views of the stage, creating an unbeatable customer experience. Anton Lockwood, The Rescue Rooms Booker and Director of Promotions at DHP comments:

With everyone from Santigold to Bloc Party, The Libertines to Crystal Castles and Happy Mondays to Broken Social Scene playing the 450 capacity venue since it's inauguration onto the fertile Notts scene 9 years ago The Rescue Rooms is an essential destination for those in tune with the movements of today's captivating band-led scene.

In addition to the refurbishment, The Rescue Rooms will now be open from 5pm every day and will be serving food from the new locally sourced menu until 9pm, with bar snacks available until 3am.

With over 100 live gigs per year you never know who or what may be blowing up!

The Rescue Rooms is also a relaxed drinking spot, tucked away behind Rock City, it's intimate atmosphere offers a respite from busy city life and is a haven for music lovers of all kinds.
