CoCo and the Butterfields sprang to life in 2011, performing a uniquely irresistible mix of folk, pop and hip hop. They were promptly crowned the nation's "best unsigned act" at UK Live & Unsigned 2012 amidst 10,000 competitors, and within 2 years they had amassed half a million YouTube hits, received airplay from Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 and have shared a stage with internationally renowned artists King Charles, Bastille, Seasick Steve, The Pogues and Wheatus.

Buskers by trade, the band features the unlikely combination of vocals, double bass, banjo, violin, guitar and a beatboxer, all of whom met and honed their skills on the streets of Canterbury. Their spectacular ability to unite listeners with a diverse range of musical flavours to suit all tastes precedes their universal popularity, as they continue to sell out shows across the UK, including 1,200 seats at Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre for their 'Warriors' EP launch.

The band will be zooming all over the country this year in "Frank", their beloved hand-painted bandwagon, with slots confirmed at Camp Bestival, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown and Cambridge Folk Festival to name just a few. CoCo and the Butterfields are kicking off the season with their first official UK tour, the "Little Big Tour", performing in venues of all shapes and sizes between April/May, and leading up to their upcoming "See the Sun" EP release on 28th June at the Margate Winter Gardens.

Don't miss this revolutionary band!
