Indiana, Indiana Live At Rescue Rooms

  • Saturday 12th April 2014
  • Supported by: April Towers

Indiana plays a headline show on Saturday, April 12th at The Rescue Rooms, after selling out The Bodega well upfront on her debut headline show, an opportunity to see her performing songs from the forthcoming album with a full backing band. In addition, she will be embarking on an eight-date UK tour in March-April as the main support to similarly hyped newcomer Bipolar Sunshine (tour dates below).

'Solo Dancing' comes off the back of a stream of successful singles including 'Mess Around', 'Bound', 'Animal' and 'Smoking Gun' which together have garnered over a million views on YouTube, enjoyed wide support from BBC Radio 1 and sent ripples of excitement across the blogosphere. Further recent highlights include playing a sold out show alongside Clean Bandit at XOYO, enthusiastically received performances at Glastonbury and Secret Garden Party, as well as a private performance to none other than The Queen at the opening ceremony of the new BBC Broadcasting House.

'Solo Dancing' will be accompanied by remixes from producer and house mainstay Chris Lake, London trap and bass upstart KAOS and, perhaps most symbolically, Joe Goddard – a homemade cover of whose club anthem 'Gabriel' lead to Indiana's original discovery.

With its evocative and intelligent dance-savvy pop, clear aim and deft execution, 'Solo Dancing' further establishes Indiana as one of the UK's most exciting new voices.
