California band Plague Vendor have played a number of club gigs, house parties and warehouse shows and are known for wild nights and good times.

From aggressive thrash to melodic introspection the sound of their debut album visits loads of different sounds while the songs say something worthwhile and reveal the musicians’ experiences and ideas throughout.

Their debut album was released back in April and was a huge success with their loyal fan base. The track below is the first to be released from the album.

Nottingham's own bringers of mental dangerpop for awesome people.

"Sounding a bit like Death From Above but with more noise, these guys treated a rammed Jam Cafe to a set of post-apocalyptic, sci-fi party rock featuring hand claps and songs about Arnold Schwarzenegger...

Their set finished with two anthemic songs. Fight the Tiger was played with a driving pulse, a cheeky 80s riff and a rousing chorus of "you gotta punch the air, you gotta punch it good!" Say Yes to Adventure was an instrumental odyssey finishing with the rousing invitation to "say yes to more adventure". If these guys pen a few more tracks like these, then Notts is in for a treat."
