London-based singer/songwriter Charli XCX is quickly proving an unqualified phenomenon with her edgy, yet addictive approach. Since her first critically-acclaimed track, “Nuclear Seasons” in 2011, Charlotte Aitchinson has released a plethora of singles, mixtapes, and psychedelic pop culture collage videos. The 21 year-old is responsible for writing the #1 smash single, “Fancy” (with Iggy Azalea), which currently tops Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, where it sat at #1 for seven consecutive weeks, and has been performed the track on major national TV: mtvU Woodie Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live! as well as the season finale of Dancing with the Stars.

Charli XCX also penned last year’s summer it-song, “I Love It” recorded by Icona Pop, which she is also featured on—a song that has surpassed 6 Million global sales and a double platinum US certification, landing the pop starlet a 2014 ‘Sesac Writer of the Year’ award. Currently in the studio working on new material for her second album, which is set to release later this year on Neon Gold/Atlantic Records; a follow up to her debut LP, “True Romance” (IAMSOUND), which landed Pitchfork’s “Best New Music” status and one of Rolling Stone’s “hottest synth-pop acts.”

Most recently, Charli XCX released a new single, “Boom Clap” off the highly anticipated ‘The Fault in Our Stars: Music From the Motion Picture’ soundtrack on sale now via Atlantic Records. The track has skyrocketed, currently sitting in the Billboard Hot 100 at #16, is in the Top 15 in Pop Radio, and has been performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers and The TODAY Show.
