Background Laurie and Isaac AKA Slaves first met at a few gigs they both went to in Kent. Isaac eventually asked Laurie to play in his former band Bareface. After playing one show with the band, the due decided to break away from them and work on music together. Since then they have received a lot of attention for their live shows and recorded tracks alike. They have performed on Jools Holland and have just been part of the NME awards tour. They are set to release another album later this year.

What the press says “They mix ‘77 style British punk with harsh bluesy garage riffs, as infectious as they are confrontational”.

What Rescue Rooms “Slaves have fast become one of our favourite bands over the past year. They smashed it recently on the NME tour at Rock City and we’re sure the show here at Rescue Rooms is going to be special”.
