For Fans Of:As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, All That Remains

Hometown: Orange County, California

About: After forming in 1998, the band released 2 EPs to small release and then signed with victory records in 2001. In 2002, they then released their first full-length 'Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses' which was a smash hit amongst critics and metalcore fans. Subsequent releases saw them embrace more commercial avenues to ensure their growth, but still retain their darker, gothic feel compared to other artists on Victory. This was followed by them signing to Hollywood records in 2007, with later records returning to darker, heavier overtones. The band were highlights of Ozzfest, Taste of Chaos, Family Values and Projekt Revolution tours. In 2011 Kerrang! posted a statement from the band stating that they were taking a long break after 11 years of rocking, not officially breaking up but going on a long hiatus. Throughout the following years several members embarked on other projects, but in late 2014 the band announced that they were making new music and would be playing live shows very soon...
