About: Coasts formed after its members met at University in Bath and then moved to Bristol, where they spent the summer writing and rehearsing before making their debut in 2012. The same year, they released their debut single 'Stay' which received much support from Huw Stephens, while they toured around the UK. Later, in 2013, they sold out shows across the country and Europe, and made well-received appearances at festivals such as Great Escape. Their third single, 'Oceans', was released June 2014, and received good support on Radio 1 from Greg James & Huw Stephens, they then played a live session at Maida Vale and then at the Big Weekend in Glasgow. This in turn was followed by a sold out show at Dingwalls in Camden and then iTunes named them as their 'Ones To Watch'.

'A Rush Of Blood', their fourth single, was premiered as Zane Lowe's Hottest Record and gained a lot of air time on Radio 1, after which they toured the UK and performed on Made In Chelsea. 2015 kicked off with a North American Tour, a headline show at London's Scala to a sold out crowd, as well as sets at Coachella... Talk about up and up!
