The Ages

Formed in February 2012, currently consist of four members from Borehamwood and St Albans who love performing and recording music!

Taking influences from the likes of The Beatles, The Kinks, Eric Clapton, Frank Turner, Billy Bragg, Queen, ELO, Oasis, Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Formed in February 2012, currently consist of four members. Began recording in early March last year and played first gig in June at the Blacksmiths Arms, St Albans. Started recording our debut album towards the end of 2012 around the same time we won the Battle of the Bands at The Horn which saw us perform original material for the first time and compete against a number of established bands.

2013 has seen the band develop considerably. Having played significantly more gigs than the previous year and moving away from solely playing gigs in Hertfordshire into London and Beds. In August we were featured on BBC introducing with our track 'Based On Some Truth' at the same another of our songs 'Three o'clock in the morning (12 hours left)' was also track of the week on BBC Three Counties which saw us interviewed and Ed perform acoustically live on air!

Our Debut Album is OUT! Take a listen on our website or bandcamp and make sure you catch us at one of our shows!

As of 2014 the band continues to play a variety of shows and work hard on the next album.
