OHASIS, the worlds’ finest and most authentic tribute band to Oasis

Ohasis - The Masterplan

Ohasis got together and set out with one goal…………………. to become the worlds’ greatest tribute band to Oasis. Ohasis have done their homework, playing the songs in the most current live arrangements, with amazing accuracy. Nailing the Oasis look was very important, as image is EVERYTHING; and was everything to Oasis. We take our stage show very seriously. Ohasis meticulously re-create the visuals, music and atmosphere of a real Oasis performance. That’s why the band have heavily invested in the exact same guitars, basses and drums used live by Ohasis, which all helps to create that unmistakeable Oasis wall-of-sound.

Ohasis – What’s The Story?

The members of Ohasis all have vast experience performing live and have been doing so for many years. Ohasis have been wowing audiences and getting rave reviews at venues both in the UK and in Europe. Most recently in 2010, has seen the band headline many notable festivals, including The Belfast Taste and Music festival, Live Bestival in Brindisi, Italy, Glastonferry at Penketh, to name but a few. The band is available for all types of work engagements including Live Music Venue's, Festivals, Corporate work and private functions. The band are fully self contained and can supply lights/PA etc if required.

Ohasis - Rock And Roll Stars

In November 2010, Ohasis became the first Oasis tribute band to be licensed to record a 20 track tribute album to Oasis. On the strength of 3 audio tracks and a promo video, both recorded for promotional use, approaches were made, licensing was agreed and the band were signed to a record label to record a tribute album for global release. This was a major coup for the band, as it has launched Ohasis WORLDWIDE. The album, entitled “You Gotta Fake It – A Tribute to Oasis” is now available to download worldwide on all major music download sites, including iTunes, Amazon, and many others. This will be accompanied by a live Ohasis concert DVD which is due for release in 2011.

We are Ohasis - We play the music of Oasis

Ohasis are all fans of Oasis, doing it out of love for the band. Unlike other tributes, Ohasis do NOT ‘double-up’ as The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, Stereophonics, Wham! or anybody else for that matter! “What the hell is that all about?????”

Let me give you an example………………………. One of the greatest and most established tribute bands in the world, The Bootleg Beatles, who even supported Oasis……………… Do you see them doubling up as anybody else at a gig? Coming back for a Rolling Stones set? Doing a quick medley of Elvis numbers? OF COURSE YOU DON’T! A case in point, don’t you think?

Oasis are quite rightly regarded as one of the greatest rock and roll bands ever to come out of Great Britain, following in the footsteps of iconic and influential bands such as The Beatles in the ‘60s, The Sex Pistols in the ‘70s, and The Smiths in the ‘80s. For that reason, Oasis rightly deserve to have a band pay tribute to them and to them alone. And that’s exactly what Ohasis do. With an abundance of material to choose from, Ohasis play songs from every Oasis album ever released, all the singles, classic album tracks, even with some B-sides thrown in, we cover them all!
