DHP CONCERTS PROUDLY PRESENT...
Hailing from Sweden and fresh off tour with Peter Gabriel's band, Linnea's coming to the UK for her first headline tour to support her 2012 debut album 'Ah!'. Having worked with fellow Scandinavians Ane Brun, Nina Kinert and Frida Hyvonen before the cellist now has the opportunity to take her solo album; described as a work of fantasy pop, to the stage.
Praised by Leftlion, Sounddhism and Acoustic Rooms and holding Billy Bragg and KT Tunstall as fans, at just 18 years old Georgie Rose has proved herself as one of Nottingham's finest folk/acoustic acts. With the recent addition of a backing band, Georgie wowed crowds at DHP's Ones to Watch 2013 show and looks to be moving from strength to strength. The young Nottingham act is not one to be missed.
Joe Danks is an artist who has constantly impressed crowds across Nottingham; this in turn helped him reach the semi-finals of the Future Sound of Nottingham competition last year. He's not just any acoustic artist. Describing himself as 'folk-tinged pop', Joe certainly delivers something special in his live performance, which brings audiences together in smiles and dance. Joe is a prolific artist with a whole host of recorded sessions on YouTube (during which the local guitarist constantly excels himself).
Having done laps round Nottingham's gig circuit in various bands as a session musician, Ben Haynes has appeared almost suddenly as a solo artist. With regular slots at the Acoustic Rooms and his recent NUSIC session there is no denying Ben has made his mark quickly. His track 'Do You Think I'm Able?' is tangible proof that he's a musician not letting anything get in his way of his ambition to perform and write his own music.
Please note this is a 18+ event.
