Praised by notable artists like Fred Again… and Arlo Parks, Dan’s work has struck a chord within the industry, and his magnetic presence caught the attention of the esteemed fashion brand Hermes, who titled him their resident poet. Under the label of Needwant, his singles including popular release, “Satellite,” a powerful collaboration with Julia Church demonstrate his artistic versatility and commitment to innovation. His repertoire also includes tracks like “Young Minds,” “Lights Down,” and “Quick Intimacy,” each an artistic gem showcasing his distinctive style and multifaceted talent. Beyond music, Dan channels his creative spirit into poetry, recently lending his voice to the NFL and YSL Beauty’s “Abuse is Not Love” campaign. Drawing from real-life accounts of individuals in abusive relationships, he filmed stirring performances in Paris for YSL’s global campaign, using his art as a platform for change.

 

Dan’s journey is underscored by resilience; having survived a stabbing as a teenager, he uses his experience to raise awareness about this pervasive issue through his poetry. After headlining his biggest UK show to date at London’s Roundhouse, Dan took his live show overseas for the first time last November, selling out dates across Europe and the United States.
