What’s Really Going On?

A fun* update on how we are doing things at Rescue Rooms from Monday 19th July.

*probably not very fun tbh.

Following the excellent news for our industry that the Government have lifted restrictions from Monday 19th July, we want to continue looking out for each other, which is why we are asking a couple of things of you when you visit Rescue Rooms next week:

  • If you have tested positive or are showing symptoms of Covid or think you might be an infection risk due to being in close contact with someone who has tested positive, please stay at home until you are in the clear.
  • We will not be using the proposed Covid passport or certification system at this time, as we understand there are many reasons why some may not be eligible for this, but we do ask that you do everything you can to ensure you are not infectious before visiting, including:
    » Getting vaccinated
» Taking a lateral flow test
» Reporting immunity if previously infected
  • Masks are no longer compulsory; however we recommend you continue to use them inside the building if you feel comfortable doing so.

Table bookings and table service is over and we are back to operating at full capacity, so we’re returning to the classic system of ordering at the bar without apps – contactless payments are still preferred.

Our staff will be wearing masks to keep each other safe and they will be continuing with the lateral flow testing regime we have had in place for some time. Some of our bars will also continue to have screens up.

We will continue with our heightened cleaning processes throughout the venue, with regular deep cleans, wipe-downs and cleansing of touch points, and there will still be a bunch of hand sanitiser knocking about the place for customer use, which we encourage.

We’ve been waiting over a year for this and we’re so excited to begin the journey back to normality with you all, so let’s be kind to each other, respect each other’s choices and have a fucking great time, OK? Dickheads will be told where to go.

If you have any questions, get in touch.
