Peter Capaldi joins Last Night From Glasgow to release new album Sweet Illusions in March 2025. First single Bin Night is released September 2024. The first track from the forthcoming album is a beautifully understated slice of sophisticated pop. Produced by Robert Howard of The Blow Monkeys and mastered by Paul McGeechan.
Although best known for his extensive career as an actor, Capaldi has been a musician for just as long. As a Glasgow School of Art student, he fronted punk group The Dreamboys, part of the city’s thriving 80s music scene. Four decades on, he released his debut solo album St. Christopher in 2021.
