Recently, 20 year-old Seb Lowe and his band (Kate Couriel – violin, Ben Etches – guitar, Joel Goodwin – drums, Sam Sumner – bass ) released their brand new single Jump Scare.
Seb says: Jump Scare’ is pretty much about growing up. I wrote it when I’d just turned 20 this year and started to think ‘this is all getting a bit real now’. There are so many expectations. And in a world where everyone expects something out of you, what are we supposed to expect for ourselves? The tunes really fast, loud, and a lot to take in, which is kind of the point. When life takes you past 20, every week starts to feel like a ‘Jump Scare’.
